Learning

What a lovely day it has been today sun shining and birds singing,i decided to take pictures of my perfume bottles and trinket jars,i just love the way they catch the sun light, don't you ? So here goes. After doing this i tidied the house cut the back lawn and then my DIL and Jess popped in for a coffee which was realy nice and as we sat talking i was telling her about my camera and the borders you could put on but when ever i have done it it has not worked for me so she showed me how to do it,bless her she has such patience with me ,and voila i now have borders and i think i now have the know how of how to do my blog by myself ,with a big thankyou to Lauren for also being patient with me.I must seem thick to all you clever ladies out there but i am too old to have learnt it at school and being a SAHM i have not had to learn it in the work place so i am being taught by my children LOL.I thought i would add some pictures i took of Jess this afternoon as well. The lovely Joanne at tatty mum blog has joined my PIF ,i am so excited ,i can now start to make her something,so if any one else is interested its on the post below. So on that note i will wish you all a pleasant week best wishes Pat

What a little cutie your little granddaughter is!! I bet she loves coming over to nanny's!!!
Love your glass perfume jars! I love stained , and coloured glass too. As you say, it's even more beautiful when the light catches it!
Very impressive borders, I suppose you are like me, we didn't have computers at school. At least we are learning now, which can't be bad!
Enjoy the sunshine, & have a lovely week, Pat : )

Hi Pat!

I am so glad you got your card! I can't tell you how much fun I had receiving something from you, and then sending a card all the way to England for you! Even though I don't know a whole lot about your country, I just love what I DO know about it! I love to hear English accents (my favorite show is "Keeping up Appearances") just so I can hear everyone talk. It was just such a fun thing to trade pretties like we did!

Your grand-daughter sure is cute. She looks like a sweetheart. I also like the pink horsey.

Have a nice day!

Oh Pat, I must say, I am very impressed with your ability to learn the computer. You seem to be doing quite well. I may be younger, but I can see you could teach me a few things. I have been out of school 15 years, and oh, how things have changed.
I enjoyed the pictures of your trinket bottles. A very pretty collection. Have a great day! Liz

I'm impressed with your borders (I off to figure out how to do them!!) - they set off your jars so well (I especially like the one with the rose top).

Your quilt is wonderful - the colours are gorgeous.

Hello Pat!
Great photos-very clever with the frames too! I also love the way the light shines through glassware like that. And your lil grandbaby is a dolly! So cute how the dog seems to be with her too. We have had some wonderful sunshine here as well and I have been very busy getting our veggie garden in. Emily Jean adores her new garden apron! She is so cute she calls it her sunshine apron! LoL! I am going to get my post up with some photos of her soon on my http://yakiddyyakyakblogspot.com So keep an eye open for that. Hope you have a wonderful week!~Smiles~Tam!
