Snow snow quilt quilt snow

Hi just a quick up date of life here, well like every one else plenty of the white stuuff a few pictures of my back garden. I have been trying to do a quilt, while tidying up my material stash i found two bags of bits left over from doing Tabethas and Maisys bedrooms so i decided to make them both a quilt, i think its the cold weather its making me think of warm and cosy things and what better than a quilt i hope i get to finnish them soon as i have my bathroom to decorate hope to post pictures of my progress soon so have a nice weekend keep warm.

Best wishes Pat

Hi Pat!

First of all; what a beautiful smocked dress you made (a few posts back!) I have been tempted to learn to smock, but I didn't want to invest in a smocking machine just to find out if I liked it or not and I didn't want to try it by hand! How very pretty that dress is!

You know, all the things I know about England come from my imagination! Jane Austen never mentioned snow in her books as I recall, and neither did Charles Dickens - so I figured since they never mentioned it and it was always so green there, it must never be brown or white! I didn't know it snowed there. Logically, of course, I should have figured it out since it snows on the east coast of U.S., and you are even more north than Maine! What a goose I am!

I am like you with those tag awards; it makes me uncomfortable to pass that on to someone else.

Have a good day!
