I'm so sorry to read your blog post. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope and pray that your husband makes a complete recovery. Somehow, we do find an inner strength to cope with situations that we thought might be impossible. Keep strong and keep blogging....

Hi Pat,
So sorry to read of your news, however positivity is the best weapon. Treatments have improved so much. I was diagnosed with skin cancer 30 years ago and am still around to tell the tale. My sister had cancer of the throat and treatment around 20 years ago. And she can still nag her hubby along with the best of them!!

Well, that just sucks. My thoughts and my prayers are with you, your family, your doctors and all those other folks tha will be helping you. When my dad was ill (a brain tumor), my mom found a ton of support online through groups dedicated to the same disease. It's scary, because you hear the good with the bad, but you can also get a ton of advice and understanding from folks that are in your shoes.

Hi Pat
I will say a parayer every day for you and Dave. Keep strong. My mum had cancer in 2003. The same type of cancer had seen off almost all of her family on her mums side and several cousins too. When she was diagnosed, never for a moment did I think that she wouldnt survive. She's still with us and with Gods Grace will be around a lot longer to "mither" us! What I'm saying really is that these days - there is hope.

I came across your blog randomly by clicking on the top bar "next blog". Reading your post about your husband having throat cancer broke my heart. Please know God can do impossible things and I pray that he brings healing to your husband. Keep and always lean on the Lord
