Valentine and cup cakes
Well my op went okay i have a follow up appointment in six weeks but i can certainly hear better now,the Doctors and Nurses put me at my ease and were marvellous to me. I've not done much since Wednesday i have been a bit tired; not sleeping well prior to my op so i am catching up the sister at the hospital said i can not drive for forty eight hours because of the anesthetic and i thought great i couldn't drive before i came in today LOL. Today i made some Valentine cakes some for hubby and some for my son and daughter in law and some for my daughter and son in law and some for Sam and Lauren not forgetting my grandchildren they had some as well .Hubby took me to the garden center this afternoon and brought me a very sweet tea pot and two cups with cup cakes on them,TEA FOR TWO how nice to have with our Valentine cakes' tomorrow he is going back to get me the side plates well that's all for now have a lovely valentine weekend best wishes Pat

What lovely tea things!! And scrummy looking cupcakes! :) Sounds like you had a great valentines day. :)
So glad your operation went well. Make sure you take the opportunity to put your feet up and rest!
Your bathroom looks gorgeous, btw. We're looking at doing ours all black and white. Loving the curtains! :)

I'm so glad the op went well but you naughty lady - up and about baking when you should be resting!!
The cakes look delightful. There's not much that tops a nice cup of tea (out of a lovely teapot) with a yummy home made cake (or two).
Very yummy blog!
Hi Pat,
Thanks for visiting my blog. Heck, aren't you talented, making clothes for real people - my clothes making efforts are limited to rag dolls!! ..... your rag doll is very sweet - I like how you've done the hair - that's the bit I have the most trouble with when I make dolls, which is why I enjoyed making the goose, as I didn't have to do hair!!
Nice to hear from a fellow brummie.
Regards Julia :0)
PS. I have the same 3 'Tilda' books that you have!!
Very nice tea pot and cups! And your sweets look yummy! I am glad you are feeling o.k. It's scary going to the doctors!
Have a nice week!
