The run up to christmas

Hi what a lovely weekend i have had, yesterday my Noel letters arrived from Alison at vintage amethyst, they are very nice and i can not wait to start decorating the house next week,i know it,s early but on the 9 of December i am off to NEW YORK with my sister Sally for six days so it all has to be done before then, and there is a lot to be done. I Hope to show you my house all lit up for Xmas. Yesterday we went to a pantomime at my children's school it was put on by a local theatre group, the production was dick whittington ,it was very good, after that we came home for some homemade mince pies the first of the season then we took our granddaughter Jessica Louise to see father Christmas for the first time at our local garden center, she was very good and just sat there looking at him as if to say your a funny looking man.we had a great time the weather was very cold which really did make it feel like Xmas, Jessica was wearing her new coat i made for her. Today i have had a rest full day, did a bit of sewing finished another coat for the newest member of our family Maisy Grace she is ten weeks old will post photos of her shortly, had Sunday dinner and then watched Santa clause 3 the movie by a roaring fire.my idea of heaven. well that's all for now speak to you soon. Love pat.
